Mont Blanc Hiking: Lac Bleu

From the top of L'Aiguille du Midi, get off the cable car at Plan L'Aiguille for the uber easy 15 minute hike to Lac Bleu. It will be one of the best fifteen minutes you will spend in your life - guaranteed.
The start of the hike begins with Mont Blanc in the background, but as you go deeper in the hike, views of jagged peaks of Aiguilles de Chamonix replace the snowcapped beauty.
In fifteen minutes or less, the promises are kept. The lake is blue and quiet and empty and clear and cold and magical. Take lunch and a mental snapshot. This one you'll remember for life.
