Neither Here Nor There

If you go, it is already rather obvious that traveling in comfort in hot, humid Philippine weather is important.

And so are flirty dresses meant to keep obscure the vulgar amounts of meals dominated by rice and meats,

punctuated by all sorts of sweets (and sweetened rice on occasion).

I road tested these Clarks Cabaret Charm Sandals on this trip and they held up beautifully.

I had these on 80% of the time while in the Philippines walking all around in malls window-shopping (which must

arguably be the top Filipino pastime) or meeting up with friends, and as shown in Exhibit A,

traipsing all over volcano lookout ridges (no lives were harmed). They are dressy enough when I need them to be,

while keeping up with the demands of urban travel.
