Mountain Biking the Ozarks

(Translation: Mountain Biking

the Ozarks in Northwest Arkansas)

Not that I've already mountain biked in the Ozarks,

but trust me, it's on the list.

Because who doesn't love traveling somewhere new

with the opportunity to ride some new trails?

My home base is obviously in the Sierra Nevadas

and Tahoe but I'm not one to shy away from

new experiences on the saddle in places far away

(remember this one in Tuscany a couple years ago?).

I mean, doesn't watching this video produced (rather

Banff-shorts-esque, I must add) by OzTrailsNWA,

make you stop and reconsider your fall travel plans to

instead travel to Bentonville, Arkansas on

November 10th-12th for IMBA (code for International

Mountain Biking Association) World Summit?

Yes, there is such a thing, and yes, there will be

three days of serious mountain bike action.

(Although if I go, other checking out the local trails and stuffing

my face with local Arkansas eats, I just may stalk some

rad guys/gals on two wheels and obsess over their

gear when they are not looking.)

For more information about the singletrack trails

in the Ozarks, visit www.oztrailsnwa.com

and follow them on Facebook here.

I received promotional consideration from Oz Trails for this post.
